Invaluable Interview with President Assad with Sky News Arabic

Syrian President Bashar Al Assad gave a very important interview to Sky News Arabic addressing pressing matters including the latest updates on the relationships between Syria and the estranged Arab world, members of the NATO 'defensive' alliance the USA and Turkey, the Israeli aggression, the economic situation, and obstacles hindering the return of the Syrian refugees, among other issues discussed.

The half an hour interview aired on the 9th of August, a first to a Gulf-based news outlet from Damascus, was on the second day of an Israeli bombing of Damascus's outskirts, a topic raised in the interview by the stunned reporter who was also curious about the ability of Syria not only to withstand the most vicious war of terror and war of attrition waged by more than half of the world on a small country but also to win the war.

Assad Chooses a Lazy Ambassador to Handle the Arab League

Syrian President Bashar Al Assad appoints one of the laziest ambassadors as the country's representative to the Arab League after over a decade of estrangement.

11 years ago, the US-led Saudi Arabia and Qatar led a group of other Arab countries and suspended Syria's participation in the League's activities, the same League that Syria along with a few other Arab countries established over a quarter of a decade before Qatar was even founded.

The Arab League was supposed to be a grouping of countries that speak the same language, share the same history, and most of the traditions, and face the same challenges, within this grouping, the League would defend the interests of the Arab people and solve in between differences within its framework. Under the US-led controlled regimes, like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and Morocco, the League became a curse on the Arab people.

It was the entity that called on the foreign meddling and in many cases, its officials were calling on the direct invasion and bombing of Syria after their similar 'successes' in Libya and elsewhere.

Appointing a very lazy ambassador to the Arab League is a new assertion that the Syrians pay less attention to this entity and want to focus more on strengthening bilateral relations with the other Arab states that are interested in the same.

For Syria, the Arab League needs huge reforms before being accepted again by the Syrian people to play any role in their affairs.

Assad Delivering Syria's Speech in the Arab League, NATO Lost its Terrorist War

Twelve years after expelling Syria from the Arab League, it was an establishing member of, by NATO stooges spearheaded by Qatar, Syria restores the League back from NATO and its stooges, NATO, the 'defensive' alliance lost its war of terror and attrition against the Syrian people and Syria is resuming its place on the international arena.

Not only did the US-led NATO lose its war on Syria, it lost its hegemony globally thanks to the victory of the Syrian people and their leadership against the plot to take over their country, divide it after destroying it and plundering it, and sequentially isolate Russia, China, and Iran from the rest of the world after blocking their access through Syria in West Asia.

Syrians are NOT Excited about the Return to the Arab League

The excitement and the debates happening about restoring Syria's seat in the Arab League are coming mostly from non-Syrian sources, little is coming from Syrians, even state and state-affiliated media are just reporting on the topic without elaborating.

Why non-Syrians are split between excited and dismayed and why the Syrians are not moved by this news? There are a few things to consider.

First and foremost, the Arab League is a dead body organization good for nothing tangible. It was founded by a much fewer number of Arab States one of which was Syria with the idea of creating an economic and political bloc to counter colonial and foreign interventions.

What happened throughout its history was slogans emptied by some members of the League, especially the Gulfies who were largely manipulated by the USA and its Western stooges, the role played by such Arab regimes was to hollow out the decisions of the Arab League, many cited that the USA had to approve some of the AL resolutions and statements before its Arab agents agree on it in their summits and meetings.

The AL failed to meet the aspirations of the Arab people across West Asia and North Africa, it failed to unite the Arab countries even in arts, as some observers comment.

Many Arab countries would vote on resolutions in favor of the Palestinian people and then go ahead and coordinate with Israel on the oppression of the Palestinian people. Some Arab regimes would help Israel and other enemies of the Arab people over other Arab countries like the case of the Jordanian late monarch who warned Israel of the October 1973 war Syria and Egypt waged to liberate their lands occupied by Israel.

Another heinous example would be when some of the Arabs were pushing NATO member state Turkey to invade northern Syria and they will help the Turks against Syria, the Gulfies financially, and Egypt would give the invaders an Arabic political cover. Luckily, the secular Turkish regime at the time did not go ahead with these traitors and managed to resolve its issues with Syria directly.

The worse of all was when the Arab League despite the strong objection by some of its member states, especially Syria, called for foreign intervention in Libya and referred the Libyan file to the US-controlled UNSC and we know the story after that.

Arab League Resolutions are supposed to be taken unanimously, yet when Qatar called to expel Syria from the League Syria founded 26 years before Qatar became a state, a decision was taken disregarding objections from Lebanon and Iraq.

During the past 12 years of the US-led war of terror and war of attrition against Syrian and the Syrian people, the Arab League as an organization and most of its member states individually were instrumental in helping the USA in its war on Syria financially, militarily, and even providing tens of thousands of their citizens to the terrorist groups of Al Qaeda and its ISIS offshoot in Syria.

After all that enmity by the Arab League, the organization, and most of its member states, the League decides to re-admit Syria to its body, as simple as that and is if nothing happened or as if the Syrian people would forget the treachery and criminality of the League and its member states, and the extreme of treachery and criminality by some of those member states against Syria and the Syrians, all the blood that was spilled, the suffering, the destruction, the displacement, the humiliation of Syrians wherever they were forced to flee to, all of that should be forgotten, and even worse, the Syrians are expected to thank the Arab League for re-admitting Syria back!

Syria's acceptance to return to the Arab League without being compensated by those who waged the most heinous war of terror and attrition against it and who lost that war came under continuous pressure from Syria's allies, namely Russia and Iran, and to some extent China.

These three countries stood by Syria, but not as real allies would, and especially not as countries who are next on the list to be targeted after Syria.

It took Iran more than 2.5 years to realize that Syria will be winning the war and that it was next on that list, and that its attempts to forge stronger ties with the countries that were fighting against Syria were futile. Then it started to provide some help to Syria in the fight against terrorism, especially after the revered shrines of figures sacred to the Shia (Shiites) sect were desecrated and some were blown up by the anti-Islamic terrorists the USA and its stooges were sponsoring in Syria.

It took Russia more than 4.5 years to come to the conclusion Iran came to, it was on the same list of countries to be targeted, and its 'Western partners' were only looking for ways to dismember the Russian state and distribute its wealth over those 'western partners' of Russia. Its playing the middle ground in the war on Syria helped only to threaten Russia's own national security.

Both Iran and Russia were supporting NATO member state Turkey times more than they were supporting Syria, Russia was also supporting US's forefront proxy Israel on the account of Syria, and then both were exerting pressure on Syria to accept to mend its ties with the Arab states that waged the heinous war against it without calling for reparations from those states, and as explained above, the Syrians should feel grateful for getting their victory stolen, and their sacrifices and suffering forgotten.

Arab Parliamentary Delegation Visit Damascus to Break the Siege

A delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union visited Damascus and met with President Bashar Assad in a challenge to the US / European siege on Syria and to show solidarity with the main Arab country in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck the northern regions of the country earlier this month.

The show of solidarity with the Syrian people by the delegations of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union comes as the implementation of their conference's decision to restore the relations between the Arab countries and Syria after over a decade of estrangements upon the request of the United States of America.

The USA, however, managed to order the delegations of the Kuwaiti and Moroccan 'democracies' to boycott the visit despite the fact that Kuwait, unlike much of the Arab world did not sever its diplomatic ties with Syria but did contribute financially and with terrorists to the cause of destroying the last secular country in the region.

Morocco is a lost cause, it's an absolute dictatorship monarchy in which the people literally prostate to their king in a humiliating way to humankind and against the teachings of Islam.

The visit of the parliamentarians comes, naturally with the approval of their respective rulers, a sign that the Arabs have decided that serving the USA has limits, especially seeing the signs of the powers of the empire of evil fading across the globe.

Using the gesture of solidarity with an earthquake-struck people, the parliamentarians paved the path for further restoration of diplomatic relations between Syria and the formerly US-tight-controlled Arab countries, if they can manage to follow up on their steps.

Worth noting that despite many of the Arab countries severing their diplomatic ties with Syria and contributing 'generously' to the terrorist war against the Syrian people, Syria has maintained an open door for them to repent when they're ready and has not responded in kind to their 'generosity'.

Arab Parliaments Conference Wants Syria Back in the Arab League

The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Conference that convened in the Iraqi capital Baghdad called on the Arab League to restore Syria's seat that was suspended in 2012, it also called on all Arab governments to show solidarity with Syria and the Syrian people, another severe blow to US-led war of terror to overthrow the government of President Assad.

The USA, its European Union minions, and their Qatar and Saudi stooges have spent literally hundreds of billions of dollars / Euros to topple the Syrian government during the past 12 years, the military and terrorism were led by the USA and the UK, the financing was contributed by all members of the evil camp with Qatar and Saudi Arabia spending over 138 billion dollars until May 2017, this was admitted by the former Qatari prime minister on his state's TV.

All these went in vain and the representatives of the people convening in Iraq, once invaded and occupied by the USA and the UK called for solidarity with Syria and to stand in full support of the Syrian people against terrorism and now in the wake of the devastating earthquake.

The Union decided to send a delegation to Damascus comprising the heads and notable members of the delegations attending the conference in Baghdad immediately after the conference concluded.

Qatar objected, and Saudi abstained from the above initiative, worth noting that neither of them has a parliament, no constitution, and no opposite parties not even any political party, yet they were spearheading the war on Syria to push for democratic reforms, under the guise of the so-called Arab Spring, in the country that had its parliament established in 1919!

Arab States Approaching Syria after Getting Green Light from the USA

Not sure whether they received a green light or an orange light, they are still touching waters; the Arab countries whose role was instrumental in inflicting the massive suffering on the Syrian people and the carnage against the only country that helped all of them throughout their history, these countries are now instructed to check how much Syria is willing to give concessions in exchange of lifting their siege off it?

To cut the story short, they will not achieve their tasks now as much as they didn't achieve it when Syria was under extreme pressure with over 350,000 anti-Islamic Wahhabi jihadist terrorists were in the country and threatening the Syrian major cities.

The Syrian leadership is more than aware of the role played by each country in the war waged against it for the past 10.5 years, whether Arab or European or even an ally country that kept silent. Some countries have tried to establish communications with the Syrian state through intelligence services in order to obtain information on terrorist groups, like in the old days and like if nothing happened, while these same countries continue to finance the terrorists in Syria, the Syrian leadership is refusing all such offers.

What makes this latest attempt of rapprochement toward Damascus, especially from the Arab countries who needed a US signal achieve what previously it failed to is a mystery, the Syrian state has already won, largely, not only the US project of hegemony has been defeated in Syria, the Syrian victory caused a reverse domino effect wiping out long years of working by the enemies of the humanity.

Jordan appointed a new Charge d’affaires at their embassy in Damascus, as per the Jordanian minister of foreign affairs, who also insisted his ‘country will not monitor or take control of the al-Tanf base after the US withdrawal’.

Sudan President First Arab Leader to Visit Damascus Since 2011

Syria was elected as the president of the group of Asia – Pacific Ocean at the United Nations for the month of November 2018.

The group comprised of 65 countries represents the largest by population of the 5 adopted geographical states at the United Nations.

The election was by acclamation. Palestinian ambassador to the United Nation and president of the group for this month handed over the chairmanship of the group to Syria’s permanent ambassador to the UN Dr. Bashar Jaafari. What's Really Happening in Syria?

Questions we should ask ourselves regarding events in Syria in particular, and the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) in general to understand what's really happening:


1) Who are those appearing in foreign media as taking to the streets protesting against Syrian Govt?
2) Where are these protests taking place in Syria?
3) What are they calling for?
4) What are their means when protesting?
5) Who supports them?
6) Why they have an unchallenged priority in coverage above other could be more important news?


First we need to know that Syria is a very diversitified society that has a minority of every ethnic or religious sect known to the wider region, we should also keep in mind that the Syrians have seen most of the aggressors during history and managed to get their independence hence they became ulta-sensitive towards any foreign intervention in their internal matters, they'll simply regather, forget their differences and fight the foreign intervention.


Let's try to answer these questions.


1) Who are those appearing in foreign media as taking to the streets protesting against Syrian Govt? 
Daily so many news channels show footage of large numbers of crowds protesting in several cities in Syria against the govt, many of these news channels took on its shoulders to keep posting these protests all day, all week and rebroadcast it several times, and in many times keep the 'Live' symbol appearing to give an illusion that these are live endless protests. 


By the look at the protesters, most of them will not show faces, recording their protests from behind, or from a distance, but in case we believe that these protesters are Syrians and are actually in Syria, who are they?


Based on the narrations while broadcasting these protests it hints that it covers most of the Syrian territories making it appear like a mass popular movement. Obviously those participating in the protests are from poor and poorest areas based on their looks, cloth and neighborhoods. So these are poor people protesting, and not educated elite or organized political parties or unions.


2) Where are these protests taking place in Syria?
As in our above answer (1), we hinted that it meant to show that it covers all over Syria, but does it? For the past 5 months, ie after the famous Hama 900,000 protesters (number refuted by logic and many media analysts since the entire population doesn't exceed 2 million all over the province) we stopped seeing mass protests in known cities, or centers of provinces. The only reported protests are taking place in remote villages with names like: Kafr Nibl (كفر نبل), Ibtaa (ابطع), Bayyada (بياضة), Dael (داعل).. Now thanks to Google and their revolutionary product: Google Maps, I invite the readers to locate these protest hotbeds on the map.


As we see, remote villages, mostly near borders with other countries, with extremely low populations -not exceeding 5,000 in most cases- are seeing protests demanding the change of the regime!


In a 'Democracy' that's absurd, because they don't stand a chance in a country of 23 million population, in a 'Republic' their rights will be respected, their voices will not be heard. 


3) What are they calling for?
What are these 'protests' demanding? To take to the streets against an 'oppressing brutal regime' there should be grieve demands to allow undesirable consequences that pushes people to protest, so in this case their demands should be very much life touching to take the chance of losing life for?!


At the beginning of protests in March, when events in Syria started unfolding, people were asking for the replacement of the governor and a security chief in Daraa city to the south of Syria, near Jordanian borders. The governor was replaced, the security chief was replaced, but protests turned violent, the court house after replacing the governor was attacked, torched, public and security buildings attacked, rioters used sniper rifles and pump-actions to attack army & security posts in the city, demands increased and the ousting of the president started to be heard with the infamous slogan: "The People Demand the Downfall of the Regime" "الشعب يريد إسقاط النظام".. the same slogan used all over the 'Arab Spring' affected countries from Egypt to Tunisia to Libya to Yemen..


To demand the downfall of the 'regime' requires grave reasons and mass protests and not to start with small local issues and tiny protests accompanied with violent riots.


If we add over 9 million Syrians rallying in support of the president during the month November in the main cities of Syria, to add that many cities never witnessed a single protest, not even with a 100 person protesting, something is wrong about labeling it popular protests. We should know that Damascus, Aleppo, Latakia, Tartous, Al Rigga, Hasaka Suwaida, Qunaitra didn't witness any anti-govt protest, that's a huge indication justifying the doubtful reasons behind 'anti-govt protests'. Keep in mind that Damascus and Aleppo by themselves have about half of the population of the whole of Syria.


Yet, president Assad took brave and very substantial steps towards reforming the entire political system in Syria, starting with dismissing the previous government, forming a new one, forming committees that introduced new laws governing Media, Parties, Constitution, Elections, Local Administration.. etc. Most finished their work and the progress in others is admirable.


So what do these people really want, protesting in small numbers in remote cities, mostly close to the borders? Should their demands of the downfall of the entire 'regime' be taking seriously? Name a country that does so, and we'll look into their experience.


4) What are their means when protesting? 
A protest is known to be peaceful, but when weapons from kitchen knives to AK47 rifles and more, that is called violent riots and their participants could be referred to as armed gangs.


Placards calling for better politics/ life enhancing slogans can be found in a peaceful protest, placards calling for the hanging of the president of a country, is a provocative criminal call.


Marching in a number throughout a road in a city calling for demands can be called a peaceful protest, not mentioning the requirement of a license from authorities, while gathering in groups then attacking an army base, a public building, destroying properties, killing police officers cannot be seen as a 'peaceful protest', it should be called: A Terrorist Act, or in a softer note: An armed mafia attack.


5) Who supports them?
As we said earlier above, Syrians are ultra sensitive to foreigners meddling with their internal country matters, think of an enemy state supporting riots in Syria?!


Whatever the cause of protests can be understood, but when it comes to be supported by weapons, money and covered in media by enemy states, especially in Syria that's seen as a terrorist plot, conspiracy theories will come on mind, because it is not thought of a Syrian taking aide from an enemy state to topple his own regime for whatsoever reason, except under the perspective of a conspiracy plot to invade his country.


The United States of America is not considered a friendly country in Syria keeping in mind its decades long support of israel that occupies Syrian land among other Arab lands, and oppress Syrians among oppressing other Arabs in its apartheid policies. Thus any support by the USA to any group or individuals in Syria is looked upon with suspicion of spying to helping in invading. Syrians also saw what the USA has down for 8 years after invading Iraq to devastating the entire country, killing a million Iraqi and displacing over 4 millions, they also saw what happened when USA and friends in NATO protected Libyans by securing their way to heavens in a genocide. 


6) Why they have an unchallenged priority in coverage above other could be more important news? 
Syria is a very important geopolitical country, its stance against israel, thus imperialism, makes it the most important part of a chain of countries that still stands out of the USA hegemony. Destroying Syria is to USA as destroying Nazi Germany to the Allies during WWII.


Al Jazeera was chosen to be a mouthpiece for NATO backed 'revolutions' in the Arab World, dubbed the 'Arab Spring', for its built up credibility over 11 years, and its acceptance by most of the Arabs as a trustworthy news source, add to it the proclaimed role it had in anti-Mubarak of Egypt protests and others. The role of Al Jazeera was essential to continue the chain of countries split and visited by the 'Arab Spring'. Its role was defaced by Syrians and namely a private-owned satellite channel in Syria 'Addounia' that also was subject to an unprecedented sanction by the EU to block its satellite broadcasting on the European Satellites just because it was able to deface the Al Jazeera and show the warmongering and propaganda it was spreading in order to achieve the biggest goal, 'The New Middle East' by a "creative chaos" that will lead to the New World Order, eventually.


Foreign and other Arab based media started quoting Al Jazeera for news, which Al Jazeera was quoting vague unknown 'Activist' mostly based in Europe telling events and 'brutality' of the Syrian government and security forces 'oppressing' the 'peaceful protesters'. So much of credibility falls when you just follow the line of reporting. Some news houses had to apologize for misinformation and wrong reporting more than once, then they were forced to just follow the leader 'Al Jazeera' which also follows its leaders in the US Secretary of State Near East Office under the official Jefferey Feltman. Among those news houses complicit we can find: Reuters (and what it represents in the media world), CNN, FoxNews (of course), Washington Post, LA Times, NY Post and many others. Al Arabiya pan Arab news channel is just a smaller clone of Al Jazeera.


Same could be applied to tools used by the US Administration that it can have access to.


From all of the above, we come to the concluding question: Is what's happening in Syria peaceful protests against demanding better political contribution against a brutal regime? Or if we look down from an upper level, it is a plot to destroy and slice those countries not fully under the US hegemony and replace their existing governments with ones that are puppets used by the US administrations? 

I'll leave the answer to you.

Syria And The Arab League Conspiracy

The decision of the Arab League against Syria last Saturday was not really surprising. The Arab League decided to temporarily exclude Syria from the AL activities, even without a unanimous decision in clear contradiction with the internal charter of the very same League which requires unanimous approval from all countries except the subject country. Furthermore, an Arab country earlier sent an inquiry to the legal advisory board of the Arab League asking whether it’s legal to vote by majority to suspend a single country from the League and the reply came it was not legal based on the charter unless a unanimous vote by the League at the level of heads of states, and not at the level of ministers like what happened, the legal advisory conclusion was ignored.  Some countries like Yemen, Lebanon and Algeria voted against while the Iraq abstained from voting. The decision came too quickly and without the possibility to take the chance to get a real view about the true situation in Syria. The Syrian offer to welcome a delegation from the Arab League and to show the situation in the country has not been accepted – so it looks like a lot of the countries in the Arab League just followed the questionable media coverage and advises from other non-Arab countries. Up to the 16^th November Syria wants to maintain the offer until the government in Damascus will draw their conclusions on this date.

After the suspension, as it was published in some German newspapers or even the freezing of the Syrian membership, the disappointments of Syrians are very huge. No one could understand it and can believe that Syria as a founding member of the Arab League could be simply excluded this weekend. Even within the Arab League it seems like an American policy is applied, which more and more reveals how many states and governments have sold themselves - especially looking at the known Gulf States. While the people ran on the streets in rebellion over the decision and gave free rein to their rage, they also made clear their support of the Government and spoke out against the foreign interference. Syria also called on to a special summit of the member states of the Arab League.

The Syrian side expressed that the decision taken on Saturday is far away from being a legal step and that this statement truly gives a glance at the status of the Arab League. Meanwhile the Arab side also seems to have learned well from the NATO- war criminals and it has become irrelevant what requirements are laid down in writing somewhere as long as American policy is pushing and wants to have their goals achieved. The rage of the Syrians is large; it seems like the majority of them don’t want to see themselves as Arabs anymore. Some embassies and diplomatic missions in Syria were attacked, to give free rein to the Syrians’ frustration.

Among the targets of the demonstrators were the embassies of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Meanwhile the consulates of Turkey and France in Aleppo were a bit damaged.

 In the European press, the news of the expulsion of Syria goes through the press. It congratulates the Arab League for this courageous step, taking it as a correct one though bit too late, and hopes to the government in Damascus will be isolated more quickly now – by the help of Arab States, of course. One speculation is already on its very quick way - the hope that the internal collapse of Syria can continue to grow and that the Syrian people suffer more and more. Of the millions of people who meet this Saturday night on the streets in all Syrian provinces to show their support for the reform process by their government continued yesterday until the early evening hours. You cannot read about this in German news as usual when it comes to these Pro-Assad movements.

Its looks like the voices of millions of Syrians in and outside Syria are worthless and too cheap when it comes to an accurate media coverage about the events and situation in this country. Driven by blind arrogance and ignorance, the western media seems to follow the questionable politics of their countries. Again and again you read in western newspapers about dead protesters who are sold as peaceful citizens. The Syrian government is meanwhile sold to the readers and viewers in Europe as a brutal monster – which is far away from the truth that is happening in Syria. You hardly read a word about killed soldiers, policemen and family people by those “peaceful protesters”. All governments in the west are jumping on the same train. After all it seems like they found another way trying to break down the so called “axis of evil” so that the way to Iran becomes easier. When you compare the situation in the west about the Iran you remember the many similar articles and publications before the “events” in and with Iraq, Afghanistan… and the list goes on.

The decision of the Arab League boosted the German foreign minister again in his efforts to bring about a resolution against Syria in the UN Security Council this weekend. Today the foreign ministers of the EU meet and have a great work through the whole program. Of course it cannot miss Syria or Iran. Against Syria, the EU wants to adopt another round of sanctions. Further 19 individuals and companies should land on the so-called black list. It is totally obvious that these sanctions will again hit the population. That's their goal: to grind down the citizens until they rebel against their own government because of the harder life they have to life finally.

It played a very bad game and all mix very diligently with the systematic destruction of Syria. Since everyone seems to fancy Tunisia and Egypt, interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states like Iraq and Afghanistan began much earlier. What we have learned today in the ranks of governments?  Nothing at all. It continues to work diligently on his wartime propaganda and creating a failed state after another.

It is still unclear whether the premise of a military intervention in Syria will be on the table now. Although Egypt has, for example, argued against outside interference in Syria, but what this voice is worth if the NATO warmongers decide to “protect the civilian population in Syria”. No one should believe this old wives’ tale anymore, especially after what they did in Libya.

 How many brutal massacres are already on the account of NATO and, above all, how many are yet to come? The population in Syria is living in safety for the most parts. The Syrian people who have to live in insecure areas are waiting for the army and to liberate their areas. Unfortunately this is not reality in Europe.

It remains to be seen how the situation is now being developed further. However, one should expect that there will be no delegation of the Arab League to Syria, just as there will be a departure from previous warmongering course. The goal is to let Syria bleed and starve to wear down from the inside out. But even if we stick to this plan, should the Western states have not reckoned with the Syrian people and without Russia, China and other friendly states. It can only be hoped that there will be no more dirty war against Syria.
