It's Not Credible News if It's Not from a Large MSM Source, Yeah Right!

I run a small simple news site "Syria News" focused mostly on my country Syria and been doing so for the past 10 years or more, I came forward due to the lack of credible news been reported in English from Syria and decided on this journey after seeing the massive sheer of lies the western mainstream media was emitting.

I'm not a journalist, never was one, never dreamt of being a journalist or a reporter, it's totally the opposite of my work, I am definitely not a Pulitzer Prize winner, and never thought of achieving anything further than letting the Syrian voices get heard abroad and getting the real narrative out, we've all seen the mainstream media, mainly the 'most esteemed' ones of them how they lied about the Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and never argued the Pentagon narrative, then with simple research discovered that they did the same with every Pentagon's military adventure abroad.

Officials in other countries however criminal and ruthless dictators they are, they are praised by the western MSM, their people who protest against them are the evil ones and largely neglected - Yellow Vests in France send their regards here, while the officials who do not bow to the Pentagon's will, the Pentagon being the beating hand of the 'establishment' that drives from the back seat in the West, those officials who seek independence for their countries are always demonized, their governments are called regimes, they don't have governments or institutions: it's Putin running all of Russia, it's the Bashar Assad regime in Syria and it's Assad forces when talking about the Syrian Arab Army which comprises of mostly conscripts from all over the country, and Fidel Castro is bad and the CIA must be praised for attempting to kill him 600 times! Imagine the intelligence agencies of another country plotting to kill your president!

In almost every post I share online from my site I get the usual replies: This is not a credible source, you're an Assad apologist as if that's something bad to start with, they decided he's bad based on the reports they saw in their 'credible' media, well, I gift you the Christopher Steele saga and his dossier:

Erdogan Blocking My Site Syria News in Turkey for the 7th Year

Madman and absolute dictator Recep Tayybe Erdogan, the fake caliph wannabe, the enemy of Islam, and the war criminal has a lot to hide, that's why he seized control of over 90% of Turkish mainstream media: audio, visual, and written, imprisoned dozens of journalists, hundreds of former officials, thousands of opposition members and tens of thousands of the public so far. Turkey is the largest prison in the world for journalists.

Syria News is no exception. Yes, we are tough in criticizing Erdogan on our site, but isn't this exactly what he's doing against my government and my people? Didn't he bring tens of thousands of terrorists from all sides of the planet to help us 'get our freedoms'?

Islam's Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) described the hypocrite in one of his hadith - sayings: "Four characteristics constitute anyone who possesses them a sheer hypocrite (munafiq), and anyone who possesses one of them possesses a characteristic of hypocrisy till he abandons it:

• When he talks he lies,
• When he makes a promise he violates it,
• When he makes a covenant he acts treacherously, and
• When he quarrels, he deviates from the Truth."

Now look at each one of those and you'll find Erdogan does it repeatedly, Erdogan calls it smartness and political pragmatism to be a hypocrite, Muslims call that hypocrisy based on the definition given by their prophet.

In 2003 I was notified by friends in Turkey that they can't access my site, I looked up the issue with the host company and my IT friends who were helping me that time and they confirmed there's no issue with the site, it's rather an issue in Turkey itself. They advised to try a VPN and that worked, and a couple of other tests proved that Syria News is blocked in Turkey.

That was followed later by an email I received from Automattic, the company that runs the most popular WordPress blogging platform, advising that they're obliged to block my WordPress blog in Turkey, they did confirm it's against their policy and against their belief, but they added that they were threatened by Erdogan to block their entire platform if they don't block my blog, and a couple of others, from access in Turkey.

Yesterday, I was notified by some friends that the blocking is still in effect and they can't access the site, that was followed by a post on Reddit by some Turks saying the same.

I’ve been using PayPal for about 10 years as an online tool to pay for different products I buy online and for the past 4 years to receive donations, tiny they were, through a PayPal donation button on this site.

Last week, and approaching the next payment to renew some of the services I use online to keep this and other sites running, I created a Fundrzr campaign to earn some dollars, and then troubles started.

Betraying Syria – Hyenas Disguised as Activists

Yours truly and whoever tried to stand by my side since the year 2013 and until today has been under an evil, smear campaign accusing me of betraying Syria just for the crime of ‘criticizing Putin’s policies in regards with his strange relations with Turkey’.

The campaign to accuse a Syrian patriotic of treason was led by a Freemason living in Canada his initials are C. A., and an Australian operative and her Lebanese husband whose names were never real.

The campaign started immediately after I published the post talking about the loss of the most strategic Meng Airbase in north Syria to terrorists Meng Battle a Big Loss for the Axis of Resistance, Sadly and unfortunately true it was.

BBC Promotes A Terrorist to a Victim

I'm not going to discuss biased media especially NATO aligned warmongering mouthpieces, I'll just put a small example and leave the readers to decide.

BBC has built credibility over decades of hard work by its earlier journalists and anchors, but when the battle is about Syria the credibility is worth risking for the BBC, even if it was earned with blood, sweat and lots sums of monies. 

In this example the BBC presents a young guy, a holder of UK passport from Syrian origin, it adopts his story without any reasoning because he accuses the Syrian government security of shooting him while he was standing by during a 'peaceful protests' against the president of Syria, Dr. Bashar Al Assad.

On September 7, 2011 the BBC News posted an article titled UK Citizen Describes Being Shot in Syria, and here is what BBC wrote and I quote exactly the description:

"Danny Abdul Dayem who is a British citizen of Syrian descent was shot in Homs 10 days ago.

He and his family fled Syria arriving in the UK last night.

Forces loyal to the Syrian dictator, Bashr al Asad are said to have killed 14 civilians on Wednesday.

As ever, the details are very hard to come by, since foreign observers are banned from the country.

The attack came in Homs, which is Syria's third city and has been under attack for days." end quote.

That might sound fine, but why would BBC put its credibility at stake for such a weak story? There's no other evidence except what the 'victim' says, and how do we know if what he says is correct or he might not have been shot during a street fight between gangs on a suburb street in UK for instance?

The same person however surprisingly appears in Homs one more time, and in a hot zone talking to CNN and describing what he personally witnessed the 'Khalidiya Massacre' by his narrative which totally contradicted with all logic and proved false-flag as how can victims of an artillery shelling be piled up, naked, handcuffed to the back, slaughtered in a similar pattern and no shrapnel traces? In the same area where this UK citizen of Syrian dissident is staying again in Homs, Syria, 300 rockets have landed in the just same area he is but miraculously all of them has missed him, must have a real link with some sort of a superpower that saves him every time! If the story doesn't convince you what kind of a 'victim' or a 'tourist' or an 'activist' this person is, maybe you need to take a look at him bragging about his role in killing Syrian government soldiers and capturing a Syrian army troop carrier on his Facebook account and posts this photo:

His mother "Helen Dayem" said on Friday 3rd February; "I know u said u had a new car, but this is ridiculous".

I just want to know what exactly is the role of BBC in this? Did they send him back at their responsibility to send them 'citizen journalist' reports from within? Did they know in the beginning who he is and what's his real role in the terrorism and riots happening in Homs among real civilian citizens who are the real victims of such criminals? 

This is just one example of one terrorist dubbed 'freedom fighter', 'citizen journalist', 'peaceful protester'.. whatever, the fact is that people have died, others lived hell times, so many wounded and the majority were from civilians whom didn't riot, because if you want to start a revolution you don't do that against your neighbours or other civilians, if you have grievances of whatsoever kind and you are not a criminal whom attacks police stations or army bases and you do not explode oil and gas pipes and you do not torch court houses and other vicious crimes, you protest and when you are not allowed you sit quiet and in case you want to carry out an armed revolution, you go to where the decision makers are to avoid spilling of innocent civilian bloods in cities where there's no military significance.

Australian ABC Media Watch once uncovered how they fell for a big mistake in reporting a fake video of an event that occurred in Tripoli, Lebanon as happening in Syria [watch here], but they were brave to apologize and smart to learn, will BBC be as brave and smart?

The "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights", in the use of the world press, consists of a small and lonely business. It is not able to name sources neither to confirm anything they publish to the world press. It communicates only via Skype and Email but is still financial supported by the "unknown members” this business and their website. Nobody knows each other in reality but they suggest that all people (members) are just normal people.


Qui bono - who use the strange stories about Syria? 


The "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" which uses a Facebook Page with less friends on this social network seems to be the "primary source for information about the anti-Assad rebellion" as the "Middle East Online" wrote about it. And indeed it looks like all German corporate and state media operate with this Facebook Page and its members and pray the same like the operator of this site who calls himself Rami Abdel Rahman (by the way it seems to be no surprise that he calls himself “Rahman”).


He lives in Coventry and says that there is no observation point which “resists” in London. The lies which are confirmed as lies by this Facebook Page out of Coventry goes into the thousands and it looks like the operator and its members doesn’t shy away about a new edition of the incubator lie which blew up very quickly. It’s sure a good question why this questionable source is presented and promoted by the German State-TV ARD as a neutral human rights organization. 


The virtual "observatory" 


According to "Middle East Online" (http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=47427) this "observation point" is just a "one man show".

"Thousands of miles from home Rami Abdel Rahman operates a network of 200 activists in Syria who report to him. This allows him to spread the latest news about bloodshed in Syria."


"'We are all normal people with normal everyday life. We have no office. We work from home or from work. “ says Abdel Rahman, 40, in a telephone interview from Coventry in England. The so called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) appeared on the scene as the primary source of information for the media world since the anti-government movement broke out in Syria in mid-March." 


Without any problems they publish confessions that these so called "activists" in Syria get their findings mostly out of hospital lists and messages to bring them on the first few pages of the newspapers. Great – these „activists" know through the name of a person what happened and recapitulate these “findings” to their site and the media worldwide. All members of this questionable small network are somehow confidential and do not know each other. 


The contacts go through Skype, Gmail and non-registered phone numbers. Abdel Rahman's critics questioned his trustworthiness and accuse him of being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood – meanwhile Damascus is accusing him that his mission is about destabilizing the country." 


Let us recall this statement from Rahman for example: 


"... I am independent. We receive no money ... The Centre and the website is funded by its members .... " 


“Middle East Online” contacted him and reported about this: 


“The observatory was founded 5 years ago. The unknown Abdel Rahman went to Coventry in 2000 because he could be arrested at home because of his activities. He runs a small shop that sells books and clothing ..” 


This is the tragic truth. From this really questionable mini-source on its private cloud are the horror stories which spread through the world press. For example the (German) GEZ stations spread this lies from this “grocery store” - despite their own huge number of foreign offices.


The parallels to the war in Libya


These parallels are dramatic and can guess really bad stuff behind it. Also in February 2011 the United Nations failed to check the dubious opposition organizations abroad from Switzerland and London which sold these air numbers as a massacre. No one reviewed these allegations and finally a War ensued.


The members of these networks and of the "National or transitional councils" (at least 2 about Syria – in contrast to what Westerwelle thinks or sells) are unknown and as always this is said to be for "security reasons”. Otherwise their links to the West would become public. The main operators always sit in the west and own passports from NATO countries.


Like this shady Rami Abdel Rahman which is supported through unknown sources to run his finally non-existent “observatory”.

LA Times Blogs Again in Their Beirut Based Reporting & Our Reply

Of course when you report from Beirut you will only count 'Thousands' but if you watch the State media (TV, Newspapers, Official News Agency) and Addounia TV channel which all broad-casted live and took panoramic photos of the entire events you'll count them in about 1.4 million people, not 'Thousands', unless you want to say: 1,400 'Thousands' or as per your second paragraph you say: 140s of Tens of Thousands attending a pro govt rally in the Syrian second city Aleppo.


It's not a 'repeat of Damascus rally', it's a totally another rally with different participants where Aleppo is about 310 Kilometers (193 Miles) to the north of Damascus, and obviously you cannot carry the million plus Damascus rally participants to Aleppo city!! If you have a reasonable way to do so please inform us how we can apply it to moving cities populations in the face of potential natural disasters.


You are directly participating in the NATO war propaganda and its very clear for any follower of your 'blogs' and reports about Arab countries on the US Hit-list, this will only make you accomplice in crimes against citizens of these countries.


'Activists' are meant to be described by you and other Mainstream Media (the NATO countries' ones) as people with a humanitarian relief, aide, refuge or law assistance backgrounds, majors and activities, while these 'Activists' in regards of the Arab countries are much more of informants, agents and spies of different NATO countries' intelligent services reporting from cities in these countries about events overseas in countries on the NATO hit-list, appeared in big numbers out of nowhere, creating and building information based on personal interests or motivated interests rather than fact-finding initiatives.. If you claim to be a responsible news outlet then I demand you to make reports about these 'Activists' you base your reports on, I demand to see proofs of their education, background, activities, their offices, their methodology of collecting information, their practices in verifying these information, their scientific methods in documenting these information and most importantly: Their Source of Funding..!


Unless you can do so, reporting their information makes you accomplice in crimes against our people by participating in a war propaganda especially after the so many evidences of fake reporting and fake information you as well as all other NATO countries' news outlets have reported, like the infamous case of a 'Gay Girl in Damascus' who turned out to be a US Male Citizen reporting from UK; the infamous story of alleged arresting, killing and butchering of Zainab Al Hosny who appeared in flesh before Syrian TV after 10 days of your allegations; the infamous story of Syrian Navy alleged shelling the port city of Lattakia which never found any trace inside the city; the infamous alleged story of shelling the city of Hama by Syrian army tanks and leveling the Horani Hospital which proved totally false; the infamous alleged stories of Syrian army tanks shelling the cities of Daraa, Der Ezzor, Idleb and Bu Kamal all proved false; the infamous story of airborne shelling of the border town of Tal Kalakh using a video re-uploaded to YouTube of 2 officers in an army helicopter where the same video was taken over a year ago and uploaded to YouTube in a normal training mission that didn't involve a single bullet firing..!; the infamous allegations that the riots in Syria were all done by 'Peaceful Protesters' where the authorities are confiscating on daily basis caches of weapons from personal pistols to heavy machine guns to grenades to RPG's and even 4x4 cars equipped with anti-airplanes machine guns alike the ones used by the Libyan NATO supported rebels we see all over the news, and many stories uncovered daily by real and true Syrian Activists.
