Syria Rebuilding and Building New Affordable Housing Despite the US-led War of Terror

Construction continues on existing projects launched during the US-led war of terror on Syria and new projects to house 50,000 families in new apartments are ongoing.

One of the leading Syrian public companies in the construction field is GCBC which just signed a new contract with the Syrian Housing Establishment, a public company, to build 11 additional residential towers in the Wafa Suburb of Hama, central Syria.

The new 11 residential towers comprise 362 apartments with a built-up area of 52,608 square meters in a contract that cost 9.5 billion Syrian Liras and expected to be completed in 800 days, from land development to handover.

This complements the ongoing contract of 6 residential towers comprising 200 apartments in the same Wafa Suburb, which GCBC is executing.

Over 50,000 apartments were approved in the ambitious Youth Housing Program launched by President Assad during the war. Imagine if the country was not fighting for survival against the world's superpowers, the world super-rich regimes, and the world's largest terrorist army, not to mention the complete blockade and draconian sanctions!

5000 New Affordable Apartments in Damascus Despite Terror and Sanctions

The Syrians are defying logic in all aspects, despite the crippling sanctions by the USA and its European minions, and its regional stooges and despite the unprecedented terror by the largest army of terrorists in the world, the Syrian people never stopped building.

5,000 new apartments in a housing project in Damascus, 26,000 new apartments in another, over 50,000 affordable units delivered during the years of war, you should raise your hat in respect to the resilience of the people of the oldest continuous civilization in the world.

The latest project will replace ailing houses in western Damascus with new modern buildings, the owners of the old houses will be given new units suitable to their contribution, and the rest will be sold in installments for up to 25 years at near cost price.

Another project is just to the south of Damascus with a large capacity due to its open-ended borders.

Three Million Homes Delivered by Maduro’s Social Program in Venezuela

The Venezuelan Social Program launched in 2011 by late President Hugo Chavez and continued by Nicolas Maduro has achieved its 2019 goal by delivering 3 million units.
President Maduro announced in a tweet:

Syrian Housing Ministry Built 40,000 Apartments During the War

The Syrian government has completed and handed over 40,000 apartments in its subsidized Housing scheme to applicants during the war, against all odds, and despite the Western tight blockade and sanctions.

More to be built as the local market is in need of about 2 million housing units due to the massive destruction caused by the US-led World War of Terror against Syria, and because of the normal increase in population.

Syrian Public Housing Company Delivers 6133 Units in Four Provinces

Syrian General Company for Housing (http://escan.gov.sy/) delivered 6133 apartments to registered beneficiaries in the provinces of Damascus Countryside, Aleppo, Lattakia and Homs.

Housing project for youth in Damascus Countryside approved 1069 apartments for the registered beneficiaries in the Qudsaiya Suburb Expansion district, and 2000 apartments for the housing project for workers in Adra Industrial City.

In Aleppo 200 apartments were given to the housing project for youth in Massuraniya district, 164 apartments for the housing saving project in Ansari East district and 245 apartments for registered applicants in ‘Friday Market Land’ district.

Public Company to Construct Thousands of Housing Units in Deemas

Syrian General Company for Constructions (http://gcbc.sy/) has won a public tender to construct 13 residential towers with 8,000 apartments in the town of Deemas, Damascus Countryside.

This is the first part of the 4th phase of the ‘affordable housing’ project which will be executed in 2018, and the second part of 6,000 apartments will be executed next year, in the town of Deemas, around 23 kilometers from the Syrian capital.
