What's the hysteria about Ivermectin?

Ivermectin has come under new massive attack in news, by lobbying groups and various experts since the report of an Arkansas physician successfully prescribing it in his private practice and to his incarcerated patients. Previously the drug had come under attack by Merck, whose patent for it expired in 1999 and which has recently received millions from the US government to develop a patented antiviral for COVID, with properties similar to ivermectin.

Ivermectin is considered a "wonder drug" and many physicians around the world have claimed using it successfully to treat their COVID patients.

It is an anti-parasite drug that has prevented blindness and other physical disabilities in tropical countries for decades. These same countries have the lowest C19 death rates in the world, and the National Institute of Health, overseen by Dr. Fauci published a report, "Covid 19 and the African Enigma" on this surprise.

Ivermectin has been shown to also have antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

But since it's now generic it's cheap competition against costly trial medicines, and so it's being demeaned as a horse dewormer.

The AMA and two pharmacy lobbies (pharmacists aren't allowed to practice medicine in the US) have issued a joint condemnation of using ivermectin for C19. They all just happen to have Merck and other pharmaceutical giants among corporate sponsors.

Despite US and EU Sanctions Syrian Doctors Perform a Rare Brain Surgery

Despite a strangling sanctions regime and a complete blockade by the inhumane hypocrite western countries, a team of Syrian doctors at Al Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus performed brain surgery on a 6-years old with Rasmussen’s Encephalitis, a very rare autoimmune disorder — that targets mostly children aged 2-10.

The meticulous and delicate operation was led by Dr. Tarfa Baghdadi and included the removal of one half of the brain decreases seizure activity by an average of 80% — one study found 96% of fifty-two patients seizure-free.

The young patient awoke neuroanatomically intact and was undergoing short-term rehab, Dr. Tarfa Baghdadi explained.

Syria is under severe economic sanctions by both the USA and the European Union who both in the month of June this year instead of lifting their inhumane sanctions on the Syrian people due to the economic burdens of the COVID 19 measures worldwide, they doubled down on the sanctions. They are punishing the Syrian people for not accepting to be ruled by puppets serving the 0.01% ruling the western countries themselves.

Syrian Doctors Perform Paraganglioma Resection Despite US Sanctions Successfully and Miraculously

Syrian doctors have performed a paraganglioma resection, miraculously, and despite inhumane western sanctions. A medical team at the Al Basel Hospital in Tartous successfully removed a neuroendocrine tumor from a 41-year-old woman. Schauki Mahmoud led the 5-1/2 hours procedure during which the 9 x 7.3 x 6.5 centimeter mass was completely exciseddespite adherence to the duodenum, and being precariously close to the aorta.

SANA recently interviewed lead surgeon, Dr. Mahmoud (English, and Arabic). He described the young patient who presented with “left flank discomfort” and whose only significant past medical history included three years of anxiolytics for management of panic attacks accompanied by headaches and palpitations, including bouts of tachycardia (a rapid heart rate, though in normal sinus rhythm).

The patient was admitted for a full work up. Due to the economic blockade against Syria, the upper gastrointestinal endoscope only went as far as the 3rd duodenum segment. Those results were normal... Continue reading: https://www.syrianews.cc/syrian-doctors-perform-paraganglioma-resection-despite-us-sanctions/

Syria has overcome NATO ‘sanctions’ and NATO thieves, and has built a ventilator — from scratch — in 16 days. The Aleppo Chamber of Industry held a press conference on Thursday to introduce the first Syrian made ventilator to the public.

The piloted artificial respirator was the result of the collaborative work of a team of medical and engineering experts joined by local cadre.
“The ventilator set is a scientific, charitable project which aims at encouraging the scientific research and connect it to the industrial development,” MP and Chairman of the Syrian Federation of Industry, Fares Shehabi, told gathered ... Syria: 1st Heart Surgery Mitral Valve Replacement in the Region

heart surgery
The Heart Surgery University Hospital performed a mitral valve replacement procedure on 10 October. This is the first such surgery of its kind in Syria and in the region. The patient was a 48-year-old woman.

The operation was done via an endoscope, through a small incision from the side. Endoscopic decreases recovery time — the patient should be back on her feet within 10 days, as opposed to a possible 3-months recovery via the surgery performed through opening the chest. Endoscopy also decreases a ... Continue reading: https://www.syrianews.cc/syria-heart-surgery-mitral-valve/
