One Civilian Killed by a Landmine Explosion in Northeast Syria

A civilian was killed by a landmine explosion in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, northeast of Syria.

The explosion occurred in the outskirts of the Al-Susah town not far from the borders with Iraq, the area is under the occupation of the US-sponsored Kurdish separatist SDF armed group.

Landmines and assorted IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) were planted in very large quantities everywhere the US-sponsored 'democracy promoters' of the FSA and its affiliates, thousands of Syrians have lost their lives in the explosions of these devices upon returning to their towns and neighborhoods, despite the enormous efforts carried out by the Engineering Corps in the Syrian Arab Army and their allies in combing and demining the areas cleaned from the terrorists.
