One More Civilian Killed by a Landmine in Syria, 3 Others Injured

One more landmine explosion killed a civilian and injured 3 others in farmland northeast of Salamiyah, central Syria.

The landmine blew up in the farmers working on their farm in the town of Mreijah about 40 kilometers northeast of Salamiyah in the northeastern countryside of Hama province.

This comes just 3 days after the previous landmine explosion that killed another civilian in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, not far from the borders with Iraq.

In the past month, several landmines claimed the lives of several Syrians and maimed many others most of them were children and farmers. The country was planted with tens of thousands of explosive devices and landmines by NATO-sponsored terrorist groups of Al Qaeda and its FSA umbrella and its ISIS offshoots. Even the Kurdish SDF separatist armed group is planting landmines in the country.
