Earthquake Struck Northeast of Damascus Shortly after Midnight

 An earthquake struck northeast of Damascus shortly after midnight, the quake measured 4.3 degrees on the Richter scale, no casualties reported thus far.




The center of the earthquake was about 50 kilometers northeast of the Syrian capital Damascus near the Damascus - Tadmor (Palmyra) highway.

Some residents of Damascus city and Damascus countryside governorate felt the tremor, however, they're used to bombing and explosions, especially Israeli bombing which happens around midnight the last of which was just a couple of days ago.
