Three Oil Exploration Contracts Signed with Russian Companies During Damascus International Fair

Syrian Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources signed three contracts with Russian companies in the oil and gas sector yesterday. The signing ceremony took place at the Syrian Ministry’s wing at Damascus International Fair.

The contracts were signed on behalf of the Syrian side by Bassam Tohme, general manager of the General Petroleum Corporation, on the Russian side by the Director-General of Velada Olek Kirillov and the General Manager of Mercury Dmitry Green Kyiv.

Titled From Damascus to the World, Syria’s 61st annual Fair will hold its opening ceremony tonight. The Fair will be open to the public from 29 August through 6 September. Eleven centers throughout Damascus will provide free bus transportation to the Fairgrounds.

Damascus International Fair reopened in a massive return proving the Syrian Phoenix will always come out from the ashes and resurrect stronger and more beautiful.

After 5 years of compulsory closure due to the terror war imposed on the Syrian people by the 'Humanitarian Bastards', the enemies of humanity under 'humanitarian intervention' slogans, the prominent Damascus International Fair comes back with its 59th year.

More than 1500 companies from 43 countries participating in the fair held not far from Damascus International Airport. The area of the fair is over 150,000 square meters.
