The Russian Army lost 112 of its personnel in Syria, a top Russian parliamentarian said during a committee meeting of the Russian State Duma.
The revelation is not surprising to those following the news, actually, it's less than expected and the Russian official didn't specify any details. In wars combatants die on both sides and bystanders also die as collateral damage, that's how nasty wars are.

And not surprisingly the Arab League, (a formation representing the governments of the Arab World, with the exception of Syria) issued an order on September 05, 2012 to 2 satellite management companies, Nilesat & Arabsat, sponsored by the League, to take down Syrian State satellite TV, Syria News another state owned satellite channel & Addounia TV the privately owned channel from air, for no publicly stated logical reason. But perhaps this is the real reason:

What touches more the hearts and minds of the simple people than the suffering stories of women & children, so how about babies and especially those in incubators? Add to that the tone of the reader of the report that tries to give added fake sympathy as if they care about the suffering of the Syrian people after they were caught red-handed complicit in many incidents that caused harm to Syrians including kidnapping policemen to give a morale boost to the terrorists and damage it with the population, then after slitting the throats of the kidnapped policemen claiming they're civilians killed by state pro-militia: (find it here), or how a CNN crew was involved directly in blowing an oil pipeline in Baba Amro district in Homs just to accuse the Syrian army of causing harm to the citizens (find it here).
A young girl appeared before a US Congress committee with a testimony that was aired on all mainstream media channels aka NATO propaganda machines, telling a horrific story of Iraqi soldiers throwing babies from incubators in a Kuwaiti hospital to gain the sympathy of the masses to justify NATO intervention in the liberation of Kuwait & besieging Iraq in order to destroy it later on. The Kuwaiti girl Naira turned out later to be the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to Washington..!
The Naira or Nayirah story was analyzed by the mainstream media that promoted it in the first place, but only after the goal was achieved:

Hope you noticed at 2:10 (if you did see the above clip) how the story was intensively used by the one term president of the USA George H. Bush, father of George W. Bush who used the infamous WMD lie to invade the same country his father attacked 10 years earlier, and how so called 'International Agencies' are used to serve the purpose and they even build their own stories to support the goal of their masters, agencies like Amnesty International in this case. And let's not forget how many times Syria has complained of biased reports by UNHRW & AI against the country by issuing similar reports to the ones they used then for Iraq.

Since the incubator story worked once, it should work once again, at least, that's what the 'strategists' at the NATO HQ thought, so their propaganda machine tried the stunt once again hoping it'll work in Syria similarly to how it worked back then in Iraq case and depending mostly on the short memory of the public, first week of August 2011 the Turkey sponsored FSA thugs tried their best to control the city of Hama, in the center of Syria, and during their battles they tried to hide in the National Hospital, of course after bombing it, then when cornered there this story came out:

Terrifying, horrific, chilling story and as you guessed it was very widely circulated throughout all the NATO propaganda mainstream media ignoring the basic rules of journalism: verifying the source of a story before adopting it or at least tell the viewers that you couldn't verify the source. The narrative was not that at all, it could be explained in the fact that all atrocities that occurred in Syria were done where FSA thugs existed, they were all filmed by the FSA thugs, all aired by NATO propaganda machine in a suspicious synchronized way that makes analysts wonder whether there's a single editor in chief for all of the stations?!
Syrians can't be fooled simply, and they have huge faith in their army, security forces, policemen and state, and such propaganda fails before it picks up momentum. Activists found the following article online:

Can you tell what's in common between both images? The babies, of course. Were there babies in Hama killed during that time? For sure, but were they killed because the state cut the electricity off the city including the hospitals and it destroyed the power generators when the FSA attacked the hospitals? Of course not, but was worth trying by the NATO propaganda machine.
A third stunt was carried out but this time by the world's 'prominent' BBC which posted a picture showing rows of children bodies awaiting burial from Iraq taken by the photographer Marco di Lauro, and claimed these are all killed in the infamous Houla massacre which was immediately blamed on the Syrian state and the Syrian Army to be found out later based on eye witnesses and thorough investigation that it was the work of NATO-backed Alqaeda ideological FSA thugs.

Now back to the YouTube video clip above aired on the Qatari foreign ministry mouthpiece Al Jazeera, it says it was taken in the National Hospital of Maarat Noman, Idleb Countryside, and the saviors from the FSA angels 'weapons on their shoulders and the future in their hands' and saving them from 'the regime shelling' and as you can see the hospital doesn't show any traces of a shelling by any 'regime'..!
The sad story here is they stormed the hospital after infesting the city, killed many doctors, nurses, patients and visitors, did you see any in the video? Then stole the babies. Maybe an Angelina Julie needs to adopt some new babies to add to her collection when visiting a new refugee camp, or to the slaughterhouse in a Turkish hospital, and in case you don't know: Turkey is one of 2 leading countries in the world in human organs trade, the other 'country' is israel, both are the main backers of the so called 'Free Syrian Army'.

Why most of the focus on Syria? What happened to elsewhere like Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq... etc.?

Of course you didn't ask yourself any of the above questions otherwise you will figure out you were fooled all this time and stop believing the systematically, well organized, synchronized news doses on Syria by a large group of western mainstream media owned by just a few corporations, owned by a smaller few of persons.
The Egyptian 'revolution' 'worked out' when the Egyptian Army didn't take sides and later asked the former president Hosni Mubarak to step aside after its former chief of staff paid a visit to USA.
The Tunisian 'revolution' 'worked out' when the former president's own security tricked him and send him on a plane then asked him not to return back.
The Yemeni 'revolution' 'worked out' after foreign players agreed on replacing the first man with his own deputy and the army split into 2 halves.
The Libyan 'revolution' 'worked out' after NATO invaded the country and leveled whole cities, killed over 60,000 Libyan civilians (UN figure, true number will never be known) and the guy didn't have a real army or even security to defend the country, yet he fought back with his people, the Libyans for more than 6 months.
The Syrian 'revolution' didn't work out for over 20 months, why is that? What is the Army, Police & Security forces doing to stop against 'Assad forces'?
The explanation is quite simple: There is no 'Assad forces', just like there were no 'Gaddafi Brigades', there is only the Syrian Army, the Syrian Police & Security forces and there is the people from where these soldiers come from.
If you didn't know, Syria has a mandatory 18 months army service for young men reaching 18 years old if not studying or supporting their parents either parent or both. Conscripts after enrolling for the compulsory service are distributed among the different brigades of the Syrian Arab Army and the Security Forces, including the police force itself. While there are volunteers who are promoted into ranks, the majority are conscripts who serve their term and leave back to civilian lives, remaining in reserves till a certain age and reserves are only called when the country is under invasion. So the Syrian Army, in other words, is comprised of the vast majority of conscripts conducting their military service then leaving, like so many countries in the world, therefore, there's no such thing as 'Assad Forces', which leads us to the second question: If there's no 'Assad Forces', who are the Syrian Army, Policemen and Security fighting?
Hillary Clinton knows how to answer this question, listen to what her former administration did in Afghanistan & think about something I call ToDs (Terrorists on Demand):
That's Afghanistan, then in order to reduce the numbers of US troops in Afghanistan, especially after most of NATO member states either pulled their troops out completely or largely, you need to reduce the numbers of who they're fighting, in this case: Taliban and Al Qaeda. And in order to reduce the number of Taliban - a mainly Afghanistan students movement turned violent for reasons the CIA knows best, and Al Qaeda which is mainly Arab and other brainwashed Muslims from outside Afghanistan, you need to take them somewhere else..! Yup, you figured it out by yourself, Libya.. With a touch of re-branding by some PR companies in the USA they became 'Freedom Fighters', and now they're Libyans as well..!!!!
And after Gaddafi was killed by former US ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens troops whom killed Christopher Stevens later on, there's a need to move these 'Freedom Fighters' somewhere else, and there's always a dream of the USA since the early 1950s to control Syria, so why not? If it worked in Libya why it won't work in Syria? So they are now known as the 'Freedom Fighters of Syria', wait.. that didn't work, Syrians are much knowledgeable of consumed US products, ok call them Syrian Rebels.. make them wear uniforms and you can call them a 'Free Syrian Army' at the same time, so now you have rebels and a free army.
Now their 'strategical' thinking started to pay out, but there's a still small problem that needs to be addressed: What about the almost 500,000 conscripts in the Syrian Arab Army, Police & Security?! And one of their smartest came up with an idea to experiment on the Sheeple, the audience of western mainstream media, let's call those almost 500,000 troops: Assad Forces & Shabeeha (the ghostly militia)..
The experiment worked and the Sheeple not only bought this 'Assad Forces' thing, they liked it and many started campaigning against these 'Assad Forces' in favor of the 'Free Army' & 'Rebels' formerly known as 'Freedom Fighters' and before that they were known as 'Al Qaeda'.
What about reality and what's really going on there in Syria? There's a need now to shut down the Syrian media because Syrian media started showing more and more of such reports and because Syrian based media has started to deface NATO aligned media like in the series Misleading Media on Syria - Shaping Public Opinion to get an idea: example 1, example 2 & example 3, for instance.
Western leaders have no shame left and they don't have a problem lying direct in the face knowing they're lying and knowing that the people know they're lying but knowing as well that they've already brainwashed the masses into the cause, remember now the masses are campaigning for 'Al Qaeda' fighters in Syria, so the western leaders have no problem at all in banning Syrian based media even if it's against free speech they're themselves claiming they support in Syria and that's why this whole madness and killing is about!!

La oposicion siria , Amigos de israel , continuan haciendo la misma pregunta una y otra vez,siempre que se ven acorralados por sus relaciones especiales con estados miembros de la OTAN y sus secuaces en la region , especialmente Turquia : Si el regimen Sirio , ya que afirma que esta en contra de israel , ¿porque su ejercito no ataco israel desde la guerra de 1973?¿y por que los Altos del Golan fueron los mas tranquilos frentes para israel durante los ultimos 40 años?
Este argumento particular es un engaño a multiples niveles y una propaganda fallida ,y para ser honesto con ustedes , muchos sirios no llegan a darse cuenta de ambas cosas.
En primer lugar: El argumento es expuesto por las mismas personas que son anti-regimen sirio y pretenden ser anti-israelies tambien , y asi trabajar bajo la pantalla de la OTAN para socavar el estado sirio.¿No son los mismos patrocinados por la OTAN ,con bases en Turquia , financiados por miembros opositores del Golfo , de la misma oposicion que se comprometio a cortar lazos con Iran , Hezbollah , y Hamas ;cuando en realidad los unicos que resisten las agresiones de israel son :el actual gobierno de Siria , Iran , Hezbollah y Hamas ? No es necesario decir que el ejercito de Siria ,de hecho , lucho directamente con el ejercito israeli en mas de una guerra ,en muchos campos de batalla en el Libano , y la batalla de Sultan Yaqob de 1982 es solo un ejemplo. El continuo apoyo del ejercito sirio a los movimientos de resistencia libaneses llevaron a la retirada israeli del Libano en el año 2000. Aunque Hezbollah se enfrento a una guerra abierta con israel en el año 2006 y logro preservar la soberania del Libano , y asi ademas, equilibro el miedo con el ejercito israeli , y no se olviden que cuando mencionamos al ejercito israeli , eso significa todo el arsenal de los Estados Unidos que hay en sus manos ,ademas de miles de millones de dolares estadounidenses cada año. HAMAS cuando era un movimiento de resistencia , antes de cambiar a sus mentores del movimieno radical islamico la Hermandad Musulmana (Ikhuan) , estaban junto a sus compañeros de las facciones de la resistencia palestina frente a una brutal agresion israeli en el año 2008, un asedio contra la densamente poblada Franja de Gaza ,y consiguieron defenderse. Iran tambien libra una batalla continua encubierta ,con Israel , desde que la revolucion Islamica removio al Sha de Iran del poder. Ninguno de estos partidos podrian haber conseguido ganar sus luchas sin el apoyo del actual "regimen" sirio.
Sin embargo , los que se comprometieron a romper esta alianza entre Siria, Hezbollah y HAMAS , aunque consiguieron quitar a HAMAS ,que ahora fue reemplazada por la faccion "Yihad Islamica", ellos son los mismos que culpan al actual "regimen" Sirio de no ser lo suficientemente anti-israel , al no librar una guerra directa desde los Altos del Golan.
En segundo lugar, ellos tratan de dar la impresion de que es el pueblo sirio , no el "regimen" de Siria, quienes estan resistiendo las agresiones de Israel , lo cual es un concepto muy ridiculo y superficial , tomando en cuenta que los egipcios cuentan con una poblacion de aproximadamente 3,5 veces mas que los sirios , sin embargo , su anterior y el actual regimen vigentes estan bloqueando la Franja de Gaza y sosteniendo un humillante "tratado de paz " con israel ,llamado el" Tratado de Camp David". ¿Como es que el pueblo egipcio no apoyo Gaza y la Causa palestina , al igual que sus homologos de Siria? ¿No es porque el " regimen " en Siria es el apoyo a la causa palestina , ademas de las personas y a diferencia de otros lugares en el mundo arabe?.
En tercer lugar, para emprender una guerra directa con una potencia nuclear se necesita un escudo nuclear , este escudo existio durante la guerra de 1973 y por eso los sirios , junto con los egipcios lucharon en la guerra luego que de que se asguraran de conseguir un escudo nuclear de la antigua Union Sovietica. Por supuesto , antes de que el presidente egipcio Sadat luego traicionara a su principal aliado sirio Assad , y comenzaron las negociaciones bajo la mesa con israel ,mientras el ejercito sirio seguia luchando en su frente , y junto con la ayuda de un puente aereo de los Estados Unidos , los israelies trasladaron toda su atencion hacia el frente de Siria, ya que no tenian nada que temer en el frente egipcio, e incluso entonces el Ejercito sirio lucho una honorable guerra .
En cuarto lugar, para iniciar una guerra se necesita una economia que pueda afrontar el costo directo de la guerra y que pueda soportar las consecuencias de las secuelas de la guerra . Mas , la hostilidad por parte de Irak y Jordania durante el periodo de Sadam y el fallecido Rey Hussein de Jordania , y solo por historia , ambos respaldaron un conflicto dentro de Siria semejante al que estamos presenciando ahora, mediante el apoyo a terroristas del movimiento radical de los Hermanos Musulmanes desde 1976 hasta 1982. The Friends of israel Syrian oppositions keep asking the same question time and again whenever they're cornered with their special relations with NATO member states & their stooges in the region especially Turkey: If the Syrian regime as it claims is against israel, why didn't its army attack israel since the 1973 war? And why is the Golan Heights the calmest front for israel in 40 years?
This particular argument is a multi-level deception and failed propaganda, and to be honest with you, so many Syrians fall short of noticing both.
Firstly: The argument is put by those same individuals who are anti-Syrian regime and claim to be anti-israel as well and working under the NATO shield to undermine the Syrian state. Aren't those same NATO sponsored, Turkey based, Gulfies financed opposition members of the same opposition that vowed to cut ties with Iran, Hizbollah and HAMAS when the only parties in the region that actually resist israel's aggressions are Syrian existing regime, Iran, Hizbollah and HAMAS? Needless to say that Syrian army actually fought directly with israelis army in more than a war in many field battles in Lebanon, and Sultan Yaqob battle is just an example in 1982. The continuous support of the Syrian army to the Lebanese resistant movements led to the israeli withdrawal from Lebanon in the year 2000. While Hizbollah stood up to an israeli all out war in 2006 and managed to preserve the sovereignty of Lebanon then in addition to creating a fear balance with the israeli army, and don't forget when we mention the israeli army that means the entire US arsenal is under their hands in addition to billions of US Dollars every year. HAMAS when it was a resistance movement before shifting to its mentors in the radical Islamic movement the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan), stood along with its fellow factions in the Palestinian resistance to a brutal israeli aggression in the year 2008 against a besieged, highly dense, populated Gaza strip, and managed to fight back. Iran also fights a continuous covert battle with israel since the Islamic revolution took out the Iranian Shah from power. None of those parties would have managed to win their struggle without the support of the current Syrian 'regime'.
Yet, those who vowed to break this alliance between Syria, Iran, Hizbollah and HAMAS, though they managed to take out HAMAS which now is replaced with 'Islamic Jihad' faction, those are the same blaming the current Syrian 'regime' of not being anti-israel enough by not waging a direct war from the Golan Heights.
Secondly, they try to give an impression that it's the Syrian people not the Syrian 'regime' that are resisting israel's aggressions, which is a very ridiculous and shallow concept taking in consideration that Egyptians count about 3.5 times as the Syrians, yet their former and now existing regimes was blocking Gaza strip and holding a humiliating 'peace treaty' with israel called the Camp David treaty. How come the Egyptian people didn't support Gaza and the Palestinian cause like their counterparts in Syria? Isn't it because the 'regime' in Syria is the one supporting the Palestinian cause in addition to the people and unlike elsewhere in the Arab world?
Thirdly, to wage a direct war with a nuclear state you need a nuclear shield, this shield existed during the 1973 war and that's why the Syrians along with the Egyptians launched the war then after securing the former Soviet Union nuclear shield. Of course before the Egyptian president then Sadat betrayed his Syrian ally late Assad senior and started negotiations under the table with israel while the Syrian army was still fighting on its front, along with an air-bridge by the USA, the israelis moved their entire focus to the Syrian front since they had nothing to fear at the Egyptian front, and even then the Syrian army fought an honourable war of attrition.
Fourthly, to launch a war you need an economy that can afford the direct cost of the war and can stand consequences of the war's aftermath. Without this cover no wise country can launch a war unless the war is forced against it, and since israel and its sponsors didn't launch a direct war over that period and the Syrian 'regime' managed to dodge a war with NATO Turkey over the PKK sponsorship in 1998, Syria wasn't forced to fight a defence war. Syria does not get any support from any ally except in small mutual agreements and tiny financed projects with interest, comparing with the overwhelming financial aid israel gets from USA, Germany and other Western countries. In the 1973 war, Syria and Egypt got the backing of some Arab countries' leaders including late Sheikh Zayed of UAE and assassinated late king Faisal of Saudi. While we noticed the current Saudi regime's reaction to the 2006 war between Hizbollah and israel and which sides it took along with other members of the Arab countries. 2008 israeli aggression on Gaza is another example.
Fifthly, Syria never grasped its breath during its history, it was pushed from one confrontation to another by Western & israeli plots, from ending the Lebanese civil war, to the israeli invasion of Lebanon that lasted from 1982 to 2000, in addition to the previous one in 1978. Plus the hostility from Iraq and Jordan during Saddam and late King Hussein of Jordan, and just for the history, both backed a similar conflict inside Syria that we are witnessing now, by supporting terrorist radical Muslim Brotherhood movement 1976 - 1982. Then there was the 8 years of war between Iraq & Iran that kept all the region on its feet during that period, since Syria was the only Arab state that supported Iran and earned the hatred of all its Arab brothers for that before they realized that Syria's stand was the correct one after Iraq invaded Kuwait, and then Syria contributed in the liberation of Kuwait! Then came the US led invasion of Iraq and the presence of quarter a million NATO troops at the borders and all the negative consequences all these events had on the Syrian economy including the influx of refugees: almost half a million Palestinian since 1948, 1967 and 1982 till now; over 1.2 million Iraqis in 2003 till now, to thousands of Lebanese during the many Lebanese conflicts till now and on.
Give Syria a nuclear shield with an economic backing and it'll retrieve the Golan Heights within 2 hours. Without those two shields and with the continuation of plotting by the brothers before the enemies against Syria, it'll be difficult for the Syrians to launch such a war unless forced into it in defence, and that's why the Syrian leadership kept reminding its foes that if it's attacked it would have no other choice but the Samson option, as once late Assad senior said: "If we were forced into a war with israel both of our states will be sent back 100 years in history, (due to the devastation), but 100 years ago there was no israel".
