A terrorist attack with grenade launchers on vehicles carrying Syrian workers heading to an oil field in the province of Deir Ezzor resulted in the murder of 10 workers, injuring 2 more, and 2 others are still missing.
The terrorist attack is largely believed to be carried out by ISIS (ISIL - Daesh) which has a considerable presence in the region, ISIS terrorists, like their peers in Al Qaeda, tend to feel safe and move freely wherever the NATO US Army or Turkish Army have military bases!
Immediately after the heinous massacre was reported, Syrian law enforcement with the help of the Syrian Arab Army SAA units in Deir Ezzor started a sweeping operation in search of the terrorists and to gather evidence about them.
This terrorist attack is a copy of a similar attack in December last year, 2021, in which ISIS murdered 10 Syrian workers in another oil field in the same province.

Al Furat Oil Company produces around 5,000 barrels of crude oil per day from the Al Taym oil field, where this latest attack occurred. It's not a significant volume of oil but it does help as the US and its proxy terrorist continue to occupy most of Syria's oil fields and smuggle the oil they steal from those fields into neighboring Iraq.
