The Russian and Syrian armies carried out a joint military parachuting drill in Syria with hundreds of Syrian troops jumping off to their targets from different planes and over several days in coordination with the Russian army on the ground, in training, and during the drill, and in the air.
The parachuting drill was very successful, it was observed by the Syrian army's top commanders and by Russian top commanders based in Syria and was carried out in different weather conditions.
This is part of decades-old ongoing cooperation between the two countries and their two armies, the world's shaking events have not affected the military cooperation in a turning point, though slowed it down when the Russian leadership thought of sowing its relations with the West and Israel is possible and beneficial.
At the end of the parachuting drill, the commanders of the Syrian and Russian armies highly praised the conduct of the troops participating in the drill, maintaining readiness to face different challenges is of top priority especially in a world with wounded empires falling.
