Arab Parliamentary Delegation Visit Damascus to Break the Siege

A delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union visited Damascus and met with President Bashar Assad in a challenge to the US / European siege on Syria and to show solidarity with the main Arab country in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck the northern regions of the country earlier this month.

Arab Parliamentary Delegation Visit Damascus to Break the Siege

The show of solidarity with the Syrian people by the delegations of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union comes as the implementation of their conference's decision to restore the relations between the Arab countries and Syria after over a decade of estrangements upon the request of the United States of America.

The USA, however, managed to order the delegations of the Kuwaiti and Moroccan 'democracies' to boycott the visit despite the fact that Kuwait, unlike much of the Arab world did not sever its diplomatic ties with Syria but did contribute financially and with terrorists to the cause of destroying the last secular country in the region.

Morocco is a lost cause, it's an absolute dictatorship monarchy in which the people literally prostate to their king in a humiliating way to humankind and against the teachings of Islam.

The visit of the parliamentarians comes, naturally with the approval of their respective rulers, a sign that the Arabs have decided that serving the USA has limits, especially seeing the signs of the powers of the empire of evil fading across the globe.

Using the gesture of solidarity with an earthquake-struck people, the parliamentarians paved the path for further restoration of diplomatic relations between Syria and the formerly US-tight-controlled Arab countries, if they can manage to follow up on their steps.

Worth noting that despite many of the Arab countries severing their diplomatic ties with Syria and contributing 'generously' to the terrorist war against the Syrian people, Syria has maintained an open door for them to repent when they're ready and has not responded in kind to their 'generosity'.

Lebanese MP Candidate Lost a Word During Speech

Lebanon: US-sponsored candidate for the upcoming parliament election on the Saudi payroll Nadim Gemayel 'lost a word' in a speech during a main gathering made to motivate his followers to vote for him.

This candidate, sponsored by the USA, Saudi, Israel, France, and their allies and literally on their payroll, is supposed to reform the failed state in Lebanon, the country is suffering a massive financial breakdown (US$ went from 3000 LL to 25,000 LL in few days only and without a war), extreme shortages in food, healthcare, and fuel, the public facilities work only 2 days a week, and all because of decades of corruption by the political leaders who are the warlords of the civil war 1975 - 1991 and been ruling since.

The USA version of change and reform in Lebanon is to reproduce the same politicians who deliberately failed the state, this particular one is the son of former president Bashir Gemayel who was eliminated because he helped Israel invade and destroy his country, and after the assassination of his father, his uncle Amin became president... His cousin is also an MP and a leader of the main party in the civil war, just family business as usual, and this is perfectly fine by the US democracy standards as long as they serve its interests, once it fails to find such puppets, the USA mobilizes its military to enforce its version of democracy in the targeted country.

This is one of the examples demonstrating 'The American Exceptionalism' and only in the elections and democracy promoting in Lebanon, a tiny country which importance is only because its resistance managed to defeat Israel in 3 consecutive wars imposed on it and is now posing a regional threat to the European entity of settlements known as 'Israel'. Other examples can be found worldwide in countries already submitted to the US hegemony like when they prop up a comedian clown out of nowhere with zero political, military, or social experience, and appoint him as the president of an important country they need to use to poke the sleeping bear, for another example.

Syria's Presidential Election: 51 Candidates 7 of them Women

Syria's upcoming presidential election set for the 26th of next month May closed the candidacy applications yesterday, 28th of months after 10 days in which dozens of applications reached the Syrian Parliament from the Constitutional Court which in turn screened the applications to comply with the Syrian current constitution of 2012.

Parliament Speaker sealing the ballot box for the presidential election candidates

51 applications passed the initial screening, the 252 members of the Syrian Parliament submitted their written endorsements for their choice of candidate in the past 10 days, each MP can endorse 1 candidate only and successful candidates should get the endorsement of at least 35 members of the parliament.

It's a democratic process with full transparency unlike the ones we saw through fake mail ballots, or at least that's what half of the US populations considered their past presidential election, or the likes of toppling a sitting president and replacing him with a NATO-supported and protected junta like in Ukraine, or trying to kill the incumbent president and replace him with a puppet like when the USA and Israel tried to kill President Maduro of Venezuela, or the failed attempt to kill the Belarusian President Lukashenko, democratically, in order to install a puppet regime on the borders with Russia...

NATO member states already said they don't recognize the upcoming presidential election in Syria, as if their recognition is required, they themselves go hysterical on alleged accusations of others meddling in their own elections, including when their own presidents call their elections fraud!

I've run some calculations trying to figure out the number of candidates who would get the required minimum number of MPs endorsements in this report: 51 Candidates Running for Syria’s Presidential Election, 7 Are Women.

Syrian President Tasks PM Caretaker to Form a New Cabinet

Syrian President Bashar Assad tasked Mr. Hussein Arnous, the current prime minister caretaker, to form a new government post the parliamentary elections that were held last month.
Syrian Prime Minister Engineer Hussein Arnous

As per the Syrian constitution, a new government should be formed after parliamentary elections that would reflect the outcome of the elections and carry out the policies envisioned by the newly elected representatives of the Syrian people.
Mr. Arnous, a career engineer and public official, is facing increased difficulties as the enemies of Syria refuse to accept the failure of their plot to take over the country using tens of thousands of terrorists they imported from all sides of the planet, and have spent hundreds of billions of their taxpayers' dollars. The regime of Donald Trump and the EU corrupt regimes have doubled down on the unilateral sanctions they imposed on the Syrian people instead of lifting it because of the pandemic.

President Assad Fighting Corruption, the USA, Al Qaeda, ISIS, NATO at the Same Time

It's very difficult to fight one of the enemies of any civilization: a mean evil capable enemy with deep pockets, a foreign terrorist with sectarian hatred, a suicide low-level filth unwanted in his own country, a group of countries who consider destroying your country and killing your people is a priority instead of building their countries and care for their people, and above that corruption that grows usually in war times.
The Syrian President Bashar Al Assad had to face all of those together in addition to backstabbing from all Syria's neighbors: Turkish madman Erdogan, a considerable part of the Iraqis whose influence grew under the US occupation, a British protectorate in the south called Jordan, and a large percentage of the Lebanese who think they don't belong to the region and sell themselves to any foreign power.

Corruption alone is a worthy enemy, we all saw what corruption can do in the Beirut port explosion earlier this month, we heard of countries collapsing due to corruption in their financial systems,
This is why President Assad focused on combating corruption in a considerable time within his speech addressing the newly elected Syrian Parliament members.
An astonishing guideline in fighting corruption by the president was his method in handling it: we don't want to go on a crusading campaign against those corrupt, better to place the proper laws and procedures in order to eliminate corruption at its base. In other words, forgiveness when possible, looking forward and setting the stage for the future.
Not that the Syrian law doesn't cover corruption and how to tackle it, the law is already strict enough, it needs modernizing in order to contain any such cases and that's a task for the new legislators.

President Assad Postpones Parliament Elections until 19 July

Syrian President Bashar Al Assad issued a decree postponing the elections for the People’s Assembly – the Syrian Parliament until 19 July 2020 in line with the state’s extraordinary preventive measures in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Syrian parliament elections campaigns

This is the second time the elections are postponed, the first presidential decree on 14 March postponed the parliament’s elections scheduled for 13 April until 20 May.

Contrary to the fake propaganda in the western mainstream media, the usual liars and warmongers, Syria’s elections were always held on time, even during the most difficult war times, and the parliament’s elections in particular witness wide participation from all walks of life, the elected representatives enjoy highest levels of immunity which can only be withdrawn in a majority vote by their own peers in the parliament and this was... No COVID-19 in Syria; Schools Closed as Precautionary Measure

There is no COVID-19 in Syria. On 13 March, Prime Minister Imad Khamis led a meeting in which new precautionary measures were implemented to protect the Syrian citizenry from the pandemic of the coronavirus as the responsible state it is, unlike the supposed to be world’s superpower and leader waking up late.

Among the new measures is the preemptive closure of schools and universities from 14 March through 2 April.

All large gatherings have been suspended. Hookah has been banned from cafes.
Later in the day President Bashar al-Assad issued a decree postponing the parliamentary elections to 13 April, an additional precautionary measure... Continue reading: https://www.syrianews.cc/no-covid-19-in-syria-schools-closed-as-precautionary-measure/

Free Wrestling in Turkish Parliament over Erdogan’s Idlib Intervention

A freestyle wrestling broke out in the Turkish Parliament between patriot Turkish MPs and MP supporters of Erdogan from his anti-Islamic Muslim Brotherhood AK Party over Erdogan’s military intervention in Idlib.

The fight broke out after Erdogan’s speech trying to justify his illegal intervention in Syria, especially in Idlib, after bodies of Turkish soldiers started pouring back to Turkey, before that they were opposing but very shy.
An opposition MP from the CHP party lashed out at Erdogan for the ongoing war in Idlib, Turkish activist Ali Ornek quoted dokuz8HABER tweet.
Using auto-translate this is what we got:
In the General Assembly of the Assembly, there was a fistfight between AKP and CHP deputies. After the fight that started during the speech of CHP Group Vice President Engin Özkoç, the session was interrupted for... Continue reading (video included):

Iraqi Parliament to Convene Today to Decide the Fate of US Troops in the Country

The Iraqi Parliament will convene today in a historical event that will help shape the future of the region and beyond.

The Iraqi government called on the country’s parliament to convene and discuss the US-imposed treaty on Iraq called the ‘Strategic Framework Agreement’ and decide on the need of the US troops in the country who are there for training and advisory purposes not to carry out massacres and assassinations in the country.
The gravest crimes carried out by the US troops in Iraq in the span of 4 days only were the killing of 31 Iraqi service members and injuring 55 more, and the cheap-styled assassination of visiting top Iranian general Solemani along with the second-ranking commander in Iraqi security.
The intentional targeting of the Iraqi security forces guarding the border crossings with Syria, hundreds of miles away from the location of the alleged attack that killed a... German Parliament Delegation in Damascus, Don’t Bet Much On It!

A representative of the German right-wing party AFD, Frank Pasemann, has come to discuss on Wednesday with a committee from the Syrian Parliament on several topics:

  • The end of Sanctions on Syria.
  • The collaboration with Russia, instead of with NATO, on the building of the security zone in northern Syria.
  • The re-immigration of Syrian Refugees in Germany to Syria.
  • Recognition of the Assad government as the legitimate government of Syria, as since 2012, EU has recognized the Syrian Opposition (often referred to as NATO terrorists) as the legitimate representative of Syria.
The aim of the visit is mainly to prove to Germany that Syria is actually a safe country of origin, which is opposite to the popular belief of western media, actually... Continue reading: https://www.syrianews.cc/german-parliament-delegation-in-damascus-dont-bet-much-on-it/

Syria’s budget for the year 2019 was passed by the Syrian Parliament after lengthy deliberations since early last month.

The new budget was set at 3.8 Trillion Syrian Liras (Pounds), around 8.8 Billion US Dollars, with operating budget reaching 2.7 trillion Syrian Liras and the balance of 1.1 trillion Syrian Liras for investing operations.

To understand the figures better and its relevance to the US dollar, one has to keep in mind that the living costs in Syria are among the lowest in the whole... Continue reading: https://www.syrianews.cc/syria-budget-2019-approved-parliament/
