Russia a Reliable Ally? Nope, Venezuela and Iran are the Latest Evidence

Prominent German historian and political analyst Stephan Heuer writes again on Syria News, this time regarding the U.S. moves in Venezuela. He looks at the current headlines and connects the dots back to how Russia handled its "allies" in Libya and Syria. His main takeaway is that nations that bet a considerable part of their entire survival on Moscow often end up standing alone at the critical confrontation.

We’ve already seen this play out. Venezuela is finding out the hard way that Russian "support" is often more about posturing than protection. Moscow is happy to collect the resources and the geopolitical points, but when the pressure truly ramps up, they have a habit of stepping back and letting their presumed "allies" face Russia's real "Western partners", in particular the Zionist-controlled USA and its masters in Tel Aviv.

It looks like Iran is the next one on the list. Heuer’s analysis warns that despite the rhetoric of a "strategic alliance," Tehran is definitely heading in the same direction. History doesn't need more evidence when relying on Russia as the main supplier of weapons, intel, and communication systems. The clique ruling Russia has Israel's interests above and beyond even the interests of their own people, while only mouthing empty condemnations and waiting for the call from the new rulers to take the crumbs left for them by their Israeli puppeteers.

And before the same Kremlin's boys start screaming their usual: 'Do you expect Russia to fight on your behalf?' Not at all, we just expect Russia to honor its promises, especially in a battle that has Russia as its top goal. As Syrians, we have plenty of examples about withholding weapons Syria bought, denying air coverage during combat operations to appease NATO leader and the Zionists most faithful servant the Turkish madman Erdogan, and pressuring the Syrian leadership to accept the infamous Idlib Aggrement that halted the Syrian Arab Army's advance in Idlib to clear Al Qaeda's last stronghold in 2019 to allow the Turkish madman to reinforce the terrorist organization and invade with the Turksih army Syrian land while Russia, and Iran for that matter, failed their duties as guarantors of Turkey in that agreement. I've written in details about these on this platform.

Mr. Heuer’s take is pretty straightforward, and it’s a necessary reality check for anyone tired of the usual mainstream narrative.
