Syrian and Iran have signed a new agreement to enhance their military and security cooperation to a much higher level including providing Syria with Iranian air defense systems after Russia's failure to deliver the S300 in operational mode.
The Iranian air defense systems proved high capabilities against the US most advanced 'stealth' drones, their precision missiles were also outstanding in their performance and there's a huge gap to be bridged in Syria's defenses that were supposed to be filled by Russia, but for some reasons, Russia let the Syrian forces without air coverage when the agreement was to provide such air coverage.
Russia remains Syria's main supporter in combating terror, but terror in Syria comes as well in the shape of Israeli airstrikes using the most advanced weapons in the US arsenal, here comes Iran.
