All foreign powers got part of what they wanted from the crisis in Syria, some more than others depends on who is on the winning side.
US and its western puppets got to destroy large parts of Syria and kill a huge number of people, displace another huge number, intimidate Christians to leave to Europe and this is what former French president

Christian delegation, they were also able to train their forces and try their weapons live. The west managed to create armies of terrorists from all sides of the world and gained an evil destructive army for their destruction goals.
Saudi Arabia and its minions got to drink loads of Syrian blood as a revenge to calling their leaders ‘half men’ by the Syrian president during the 2006 Israeli aggression against Lebanon. They also pleased their protectors. That’s more than enough for them.

Israel, in addition to the profiteering from the illegal trades mentioned above (oil and human organs and white slaves), they got two strategic achievements: 1) They reduced the threat of yet another Arab national army while the latter is busy combating the world’s filthiest filth; 2) The world is busy not to expose their crimes against the Palestinians including cold blood killings on checkpoints under false claims of knives attackers, the detention of thousands of Palestinians mostly children, the tightening of the siege on Gaza and the what’s left of the West Bank, the continuous intrusions into the Muslim’s sacred Aqsa Mosque by herds of settlers protected by armed thugs from the so-called ‘police’ and ‘border patrols’ and of course the unprecedented increase of number of settlements, which was recently condemned by the UNSC and considered illegal, finally, after 6 decades just because this time the US ambassador didn’t veto it.
In each carnage or disaster, there are always profiteers, greedy inhumane opportunists who take advantage of the suffering the lack of law and order.
All that mentioned, we Syrians have learned to convert miseries into successes, suffering into power and losses into gains, it’s just a matter of few months and the whole world stage will be re-written. Turkey is now alienating itself slowly but gradually from its NATO buddies, Israel will now have to deal with very well trained Syrian Arab Army and Syrian people who have seen it all and nothing can terrify them further, and in addition the Israelis now have to deal with a grown regional power which when it was just confined in some city strips was causing enough fear for Zionist leaders to sh*t their pants, and now this Hizbullah fighters have gained much-needed warfare and urban combating that experience to fight the Zionists inside occupied Palestine. As for the Saudis and their minions, well they opened a worm box that will haunt them forever, and that ‘forever’ for them is numbered in few months.
