2073 Cases of COVID 19 in Syria Adding more Burden to the Healthcare System

The Syrian Ministry of Health reported that the number of COVID 19 positive cases in the country has reached 2073, with 83 of them died and 475 recovered as of 21 August 2020.


Most of the cases in the Syrian capital Damascus, quarantine centers opened in a number of provinces across the country while the pandemic is spreading rapidly in areas under the occupation of the US proxies: Turkey, al Qaeda - HTS, and the Kurdish separatist SDF militia.
The regime of Donald Trump and the leading regimes of the EU not only refuse to lift the sanctions off the Syrian people, but they also increased it to unprecedented levels.
