Syria’s Ambassador Jaafari Throws Pearls before Swine, Again

His Excellency Bashar al – Jaafari had yet another opportunity to throw pearls before swine, as the United Nations Security Council held yet another briefing on “the political and humanitarian situation” in his country. As is the morally repugnant norm, the gaggle of well-coiffed colonialists in suits engaged in anti-Syria propaganda, recycling old lies from Aleppo and Douma and adding some new ones to prevent death by boring repetition.

The two most notorious of the speakers were UN’s Special Representative on Syria, Dalmatian Steffan de Mistura, and Mark Lowcock, UN Under-SG for Humanitarian Affairs & Emergency Relief Coordinator (OCHA). Neither diplomat had the decency to extend condolences to Russia on the martyrdom of 15 of its soldiers. Neither condemned Israel’s bombings of Syria, repeatedly. As usual, these war crimes were normalized and the usual generic idiocy about everybody behaving was burped.
